Until we started looking at the outtakes from this particular setting, I didn’t remember that the August 2017 shoot took place on my birthday that year. I do recall becoming increasingly annoyed as I fumbled through one pose after another, trying to find something that looked just right, during the hottest part of the day in a too-tight bra. I kept thinking about our plans for the evening, as H sat comfortably in his chair in front of the tripod sipping from a glass of scotch without a care in the world. He did make it up to me, though, and I’m happy with the photos. Let’s just call it water under the bridge, shall we? ? ~C
